Alan Bickers (MNZM JP) has been appointed to the BRANZ Group Board of Directors. He will be 1 of 5 Directors elected by the Building Research Advisory Council who sit alongside the independent Directors.

Rebekah Brown from Resene Mt Roskill was recently named Upper North Island winner in the coveted ServiceIQ Retail Professional of the Year competition. Rebekah, 21, hasn’t looked back since she joined the award-winning paint company just over a year ago. Another contestant competing in the Lower South Island regional final was Shannon Read of Mitre 10 MEGA, Dunedin.

Bryce Carter has joined the Allegion team as Residential Sales Consultant for Christchurch. He joins Allegion with in-depth industry experience and understanding of both trade and retail channels and is looking forward to utilising his diverse account management experience to build synergetic relationships with customers while optimising Allegion’s presence in the residential channel.

Craig Geer, a sales consultant with GJ Gardner Homes in Hamilton, has achieved a highly impressive $100 million worth of new home sales over the last 15 years. Jeff de Leeuw, Managing Director at the GJ Gardner Homes Franchise, says: “What Craig has achieved is a huge accolade and something the whole team is very proud of – it demonstrates enormous passion, determination and commitment.”

Wendell Phillips is a Director of plastics manufacturer Sistema these days. A founder member of the Mitre 10 Group and founder of the Building Depot chain which he sold in 199, he is also a Director of a number of other private companies, including Sistema, which has recently donated products to the charity Look Good Feel Better (he is seen below with the charity's GM Clare O’Higgins).
