MITRE 10: ALL OUR ELECTRICAL PRODUCTS ARE COMPLIANT

Mitre 10 is looking into a complaint about faulty electrical components.

An electrical component said to have been bought from Mitre 10 was highlighted on Tuesday in one of the articles in RNZ's run of "shonky product" pieces (read the article here).

In response, Mitre 10 says: “We are concerned to hear of these complaints as we do our utmost to ensure all nationally sourced products comply to New Zealand standards. At Mitre 10 we take safety very seriously.

"We would like to hear from consumers about any issues they may have, and consumers can be rest assured we are committed to resolving them.”

Mitre 10 says it is currently looking into the issue and keen to find out more specifics.
