NEW OWNERS FOR STORELINK

By NZHJ February 13, 2017 Industry news

On 1 February 2017, the ownership of sales & merchandising specialist Storelink changed.

The new owners of Storelink are Angie Samuel, Tony Puppyn and John Bishop, who have bought the company from long time owner Ken Hewitt.

Having already retired from operational roles, Ken and wife Karin had established a board to guide Storelink and ensure its ongoing success.

This allowed the Hewitts to consider their future within the business and after engaging the board, the decision was made to offer the business to Angie Samuel, Tony Puppyn and John Bishop in a seamless transition.

The new owners say: “We are proud to take over the Storelink reins from the Hewitt family and we thank Ken and Karin Hewitt for their many years of service within the business and wish them the very best for the future”.

Of the new owners, John Bishop has been Chairman of the board for five years and brings extensive commercial and board expertise and will remain in a governance role.

Angie Samuel and Tony Puppyn will remain in their current operational roles within the business and, along with Commercial Manager, Vanya Foskett, will continue in their capacity as the senior leadership team.

"Storelink has established itself as a leading retail service partner for the industry for over 25 years. We are excited to be able to build on this reputation and are proud to continue to be your service partner of choice," say the new owners.
