Mitre 10 will be into its self-developed new Support Office in Albany by 23 January.

Mitre 10 is soon to be moving out of its longstanding Auckland Support Office premises in View Road, Glenfield, on Auckland's North Shore.

As you can see from the photo above taken this week, the final few finishing touches are currently being made to the new premises at 67 Corinthian Drive in Albany on Auckland's North Shore.

Visitors will welcome the substantial number of parking spaces and Mitre 10's 220-odd staff will appreciate the building's modern building services and technology after a decade in the current premises.

The new site is further north than the existing building but close to Albany's Westfield shopping mega hub and associated facilities and offers easy access to the north-south motorway.

We understand that Mitre 10 acquired the 1.2 hectare block of land from Goodman Group, which has been overseeing the master development of the 12 hectare greenfield site between State Highway One and the Albany Expressway into a business park called Orchard Park.

Mitre 10 will occupy the top two floors, while the 1,400m2 ground floor is being leased out, with a Configure Express gym already confirmed as one tenant with another still to be signed up.

Another positive sign for the area, which is still a work in progress, is is that Olympus NZ is soon to move into the other new building on the other side of Corinthian Drive as its new New Zealand head office.
