WHO TOOK OUT THE BUILDLINK AWARDS?

In lieu of February's conference, Simon Burden, has been out and about handing over trophies and congratulations.

In lieu of February's sadly cancelled conference, BuildLink GM, Simon Burden, has been out and about handing over the trophies and the congratulations in person.

"It is great to get out of Auckland and present awards to BuildLink members, John Weyers from BuildLink Tairua (photo above left) and Drew Ridley from Kiwi Timber in Horotiu (photo above right).

"Unfortunately, this year we will have to courier out some of the other awards due to Covid-19, and although the planned Award Dinner would have been awesome, our priority remains the safety of our members, suppliers and their families.

"I hope to present more awards in person later this year when I catch up with our members."

And here are the 2020 winners (and nominees):

The BuildLink Attitude Award: BuildLink Kaitaia (Value Building Supplies and Cocky's Corner)

Store of the Year - Less than $2 million: BuildLink Tairua (Toots Timber & Hardware and Kawakawa Farm & BuildLink)

Store of the Year - $2-4 million: Eastown Timber & Fencing (BuildLink Cooks Beach and BuildLink Timaru)

Store of the Year - $4+million: Kiwi Timber Supplies (Eastland Building & Farm Supplies and Matamata Timber & Hardware)

Supreme Store of the Year: BuildLink Selwyn (Hautapu Rural Supplies and Trowel Trades Hamilton)

Premier Supplier of the Year: Winstone Wallboards (Toolware Sales and MSL/Fortress Fasteners)

Store of the Year as voted by suppliers: Hautapu Rural Supplies (Kiwi Timber Supplies and Value Building Supplies)
