Rob Lawson (above) re-appeared on the supply side of the industry late last year as NZ Sales Manager for Simpson Strong-Tie.
Rob spent 11 years at Makita NZ, as Sales & Marketing Manager, before leaving in 2011.
During his time away, Rob spent two years as Trade GM at Mitre 10 MEGA Takanini, followed by four years in a direct to group builder role at Ross Roof Group.
Rob says: “It feels like I’m back home, after some time away gathering experience from the rest of the supply chain.
"Simpson Strong-Tie has an amazing range of innovative and best in category products throughout the world, and I look forward to bringing those to the industry in partnership with our great NZ crew”
Andrew Ryan-Kidd (right) is the second familiar face to have just rejoined the industry.
"Nice to be back in the Industry that I love," he said when spotted in the lobby of Fletcher Building's head office.
Yes the former ITM player is now wearing the blue of Fletcher Building Distribution as Project Manager.
Self employed since May last year, prior to that Andrew was GM Finance, IT & Governance at ITM for 16½ years and Director of GS1 for 9 years prior to that.
Welcome back to both!
