Bill English was announced as a new Wesfarmers Board Member at the end of April. Wesfarmers Chairman, Michael Chaney, says he is extremely pleased to welcome the former Prime Minister of New Zealand to the board, “given his outstanding record of financial management and government policy development and Wesfarmers’ extensive business interests in New Zealand”.
David Lemon (seen below right with BuildLink's Mike Bishop) is looking forward to opening his new BuildLink Leeston store in early May. Following the exit of ITM, the Selwyn area with its catchment of approximately 10,000 has been left with no-one operating in building supplies. Living locally in Kirwee and with a close understanding of local needs, David is aiming to make the most of this.
Franceine Wilson (right) is the new Business Development Manager at Royal Wolf, the largest supplier of shipping containers in Australasia. Prior to joining Royal Wolf, Wilson held an account manager role at building supplies merchant Carters, and as business development manager at Interior Design by Marseille.

Last but not least, as noted in the last magazine, after a 25-year career at Lowe’s, including 13 years as Chairman and CEO, Lowe’s has announced that Robert A Niblock (photo below) will be retiring, pending the appointment of his successor.
